Taiwan to launch locally made satellites in 2026: Minister

Taiwanese Science and Technology Minister Wu Tsung-tsong has said the country could launch locally made satellites from its territory in 2026, a report stated. Tsung-tsong said he hoped the construction of the satellite's base could start in 2024 and by 2025, it would be completed, the report added. The ministry is reportedly looking for a site for the satellites' launch.
