Tajikistan to fine journos over complicated words

Tajikistan will soon start penalising​ journalists for using words which a "viewer or listener cannot comprehend", a government official said. An expert group will monitor compliance, and fines for individuals will be $75-100 and up to $200 for state officials and organisations. This comes amid complaints​ about the growing influence of Farsi and Dari in the state language​ Tajik.
