Tajinder Toor qualifies for Olympics with new shot put national record
Tajinder Toor, the national record-holder in the men's shot put, has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics after improving his personal best to 21.49m. While the Olympic Qualifying effort in this event is 21.10m, Toor's previous best and the national record was 20.92m. Toor had won gold in the 2018 Asian Games.
