Tajinderpal Singh Toor misses hat-trick of Asian Games golds, bags silver

India's Tajinderpal Singh Toor won silver in the men's shot put at Asian Games 2026 with a best throw of 20.64m. The two-time defending champion missed a historic hat-trick of gold medals as Iran's Mohammadreza Tayebise won gold with a Games-record 20.81m. Toor had won gold at the 2018 Jakarta and 2022 Hangzhou editions.
