Hyderabad-based TakeMe2Space’s PowerBank-50 has become the first India-made satellite battery to earn flight heritage after powering Cosmoserve Space’s experimental payload aboard Skyroot Aerospace’s Vikram-1. The 380-gram battery successfully operated at 450km altitude, surviving launch vibrations, vacuum, radiation and temperature swings. Praising it, Nirmala Sitharaman wrote on X, "Brilliant."
