Taliban appoint 1st-ever diplomat at Afghanistan Embassy in Delhi

Taliban have appointed their first-ever diplomat, Mufti Noor Ahmad Noor, at the Afghanistan Embassy in Delhi. Noor, a senior official in the Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has arrived in Delhi and is expected to take over as the Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy. This was agreed after the visit of Taliban acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi to Delhi.
