At least 22 unarmed Afghan commandos were shot dead by Taliban fighters as they tried to surrender. A video of the killings that took place on June 16 in the town of Dawlat Abad in Faryab province, close to Afghanistan's border with Turkmenistan, surfaced online. In the video, Taliban fighters are heard shouting "Allahu Akbar".
