Taliban says it will support safe passage for rail route between Russia and India

The Taliban has reacted after Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin proposed a rail route with India. Taliban said it will support safe passage for the rail route between Russia and India, adding, "The project will create employment in Afghanistan. We support such projects." Khusnullin said the proposed route may pass through Turkmenistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
