Taliban suspends licence of 9 Afghan universities over 'ghost students'

Taliban has suspended or revoked licences of nine private higher-education institutions in Afghanistan over alleged academic failures. An investigation revealed that they were allegedly maintaining "ghost students", altering attendance records and providing poor medical education.
