Taliban to host 1st public 'Victory Day' reception in India 5 yrs after Afghanistan takeover

The Taliban will host its first public "Victory Day" reception in New Delhi on August 17, marking five years since it came to power in Afghanistan. The event will be hosted by Noor Ahmed Noor, the Taliban's Chargé d'Affaires at the Afghan embassy in New Delhi. The event will be attended by diplomats, Afghan diaspora members, prominent citizens and media.
