Tall promises made, no one comes to inquire: Kargil martyr's family

On the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas, the family of Avnish Yadav, who was martyred in 1999 and hailed from Dalel Tola village on the Uttar Pradesh-Bihar border, said, "Tall promises were made to transform the village. Today no one even comes to inquire." Kargil Vijay Diwas marks the culmination of Operation Vijay to reclaim Kargil heights following Pakistan's infiltration.
