Tamil Nadu CM introduces bill to raise penalty on women harassment

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin introduced a Bill in the Assembly on Friday to increase the penalty on harassment of women. The amendment proposes to raise imprisonment duration from the current three years to five years. It also proposes to raise the fine to ₹1 lakh from ₹10,000.
