Tamil Nadu CM Stalin defends participation in NITI Aayog meeting

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin said he participated in the May 24 NITI Aayog meeting to discuss India's growth plans. His response came as opposition parties accused him of meeting PM Narendra Modi to escape ED's action in the alleged TASMAC liquor scam. He said that though state rights are primary for DMK, it will not compromise on national interests.
