Tamil Nadu COVID-19 case tally crosses 54,000, death toll climbs to 666

Tamil Nadu has recorded 2,115 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, taking total number of cases there to 54,449, said the state's Health and Family Welfare Department on Friday. Tamil Nadu's COVID-19 death toll climbed to 666 with 41 more dying of the virus. Total 30,271 COVID-19 patients have been discharged after treatment in Tamil Nadu.
