Tamil Nadu expands e-Seva, launches ₹200 high-speed internet drive

Tamil Nadu is rolling out high-speed internet at ₹200 per month and expanding e-Seva services to rural areas as part of its digital transformation. The government has connected over 11,000 villages through optical fibre and plans to introduce bus ticketing, Aadhaar services, and WhatsApp-based governance via 28,000 e-Seva centres to empower citizens across the state.
