Tamil Nadu gets record ₹7,611 cr railway Budget: Railways Minister

Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, "Tamil Nadu has received a record railway budget of ₹7,611 crore." He added, "This is nine times higher than the allocation given during the UPA government...We're very happy that two new bullet train corridors will be started in Tamil Nadu." The government had announced a plan to develop seven new high-speed rail corridors across India.
