Tamil Nadu Governor dismisses jailed Senthil Balaji from Cabinet

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi has dismissed Minister V Senthil Balaji from the Council of Ministers over corruption charges. DMK said the Governor has no legal authority to dismiss any minister. "He is undermining the constitution," DMK spokesperson Saravanan Annadurai said. A Chennai court on Wednesday extended the judicial custody of Balaji till July 12.
