Tamil Nadu Governor returns bill to ban online gambling

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi on Wednesday sent back the bill to prohibit online gambling and to regulate online games in the state. He has sought further clarifications regarding the bill, ANI reported. The state Assembly had unanimously passed the bill in October 2022, after 22 people died by suicide following losses in online gambling.
