Tamil Nadu has lowest incidences of drug abuse: DGP Shankar Jiwal

Tamil Nadu's Director General of Police Shankar Jiwal dismissed the allegations of widespread prevalence of drugs in the state. A study conducted by union government revealed that Tamil Nadu had lowest incidences of drug abuse, he added. Jiwal said use of ganja was least in Tamil Nadu and the state stood at 35th position with regard to use of opioids.
