Tamil Nadu man contesting Lok Sabha elections despite losing 238 times in polls

A 65-year-old tyre repair shop owner named K Padmarajan from Tamil Nadu is contesting Lok Sabha elections despite losing 238 times in polls. Padmarajan began fighting elections in 1988 from his home town of Mettur. Padmarajan's best performance in polls was in 2011, when he bagged 6,273 votes in Tamil Nadu Assembly elections while fighting from Mettur.
