Tamil Nadu mulling addition of beef to menu in govt hostels after students' demand

Tamil Nadu minister Vanni Arasu said students from rural areas stated that mutton is not consumed by them as it is expensive and requested that beef be added to the menu in government hostels. "Since opinions vary among hostellers, a decision will be taken after consulting with officials concerned," he stated. "Currently, mutton and chicken items are served," Arasu added.
