Girls enrolling for higher education increase to 34% in Tamil Nadu

Chief Minister M K Stalin’s schemes aimed at promoting education have enabled Tamil Nadu to finish on top by achieving a 49% Gross Enrolment Ratio as per the All India Survey on Higher Education. The percentage of girls from government schools enrolling for higher education increased to 34%. This increase in enrollment is attributed to the Pudumai Penn scheme.
