TN records 1,091 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, total cases now at 24,586

Tamil Nadu has recorded 1,091 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases there to 24,586, said the state's Health and Family Welfare Department on Tuesday. Tamil Nadu's coronavirus death toll climbed to 197, with 13 more dying of the virus. Total 13,706 COVID-19 patients have been discharged in Tamil Nadu.
