Tamil poet Meena Kandasamy calls out DMK supporters’ abuse

Award-winning Tamil poet Dr Meena Kandasamy, in an open letter to CM MK Stalin, alleged years of abuse from DMK-linked social media. She said the harassment began after she supported YouTuber Savukku Shankar. Despite this, she translated Karunanidhi’s biography. Kandasamy described the impact on her children, who were exposed to abusive slurs online, calling it deeply distressing.
