Tanzania miner finds biggest Tanzanite gemstones, becomes millionaire

A Tanzanian miner has become an overnight millionaire after he found the two biggest Tanzanite gemstones ever and sold them to the government. Saniniu Laizer earned nearly $3.3 million (nearly ₹25 crore) from Tanzania's mining ministry for the gemstones, which had a combined weight of nearly 15 kilograms. Tanzanite is found only in the northern region of Tanzania.
