Tata Chemicals Europe, Vertex ink low carbon hydrogen sale deal

Tata Chemicals Europe (TCE) signed an offtake agreement with Vertex Hydrogen for the supply of low-carbon hydrogen. According to the deal, Vertex will supply Tata Chemicals Europe with over 200 megawatts of low-carbon hydrogen. TCE has set a target of achieving "net zero" manufacturing by 2030. Tata opened UK's first industrial-scale carbon capture and usage plant in June 2022.
