Tata firm and Qualcomm to produce automotive chip modules in India

Tata Electronics has partnered with Qualcomm to manufacture automotive chip modules at its facility in Assam. “By providing comprehensive...solutions, we help automakers...bring next-generation vehicles to market more quickly,” said Qualcomm India President Savi Soin. A total of $3 billion (over ₹27,000 crore) is being invested by Tata to build the semiconductor assembly and test facility.
