Tata Group agrees to buy 60% stake in Pegatron's iPhone unit in India: Report

Tata Electronics has agreed to buy a majority stake in Taiwanese firm Pegatron's iPhone plant in India, Reuters reported. The company will initially hold a 60% stake in the joint venture, with Pegatron owning the remaining stake. Tata Electronics already owns an iPhone assembly plant in Karnataka, which it acquired from Wistron, and is constructing another plant in Tamil Nadu.
