Tata Group donated ₹1,500 cr for COVID-19 as Ratan Tata called it 'toughest challenge'

Ratan Tata, who passed away on Wednesday in Mumbai, had called the COVID-19 crisis "one of the toughest challenges we will face as a race" before Tata Group pledged ₹500 crore for the same. Later, Tata Group announced another ₹1,000 crore. Ratan Tata had also expressed gratitude for those risking their lives to fight against the pandemic.
