Tata, iPhone-maker Pegatron get approval for investment in TN

Tata Electronics has received the Tamil Nadu government's approval for its proposed ₹5,763 crore investment in the state for making mobile phone components. Taiwan-based iPhone-maker Pegatron received the approval for a ₹1,100 crore investment in phase-I of a mobile phone making unit in the state. The proposals are among the 34 investment plans worth ₹52,258 crore cleared by Tamil Nadu.
