Tata Motors shares fall 2% as sales drop 8% to 71,693 units in Aug

Tata Motors shares fell around 2% on Monday to hit intraday low of ₹1,089 after the automaker reported an 8% fall in total sales in August. Tata Motors said it sold a total of 71,693 units in August 2024, as against 78,010 units in August 2023. The automaker recorded a 15% drop in the sales of commercial vehicles.
