Tata Power Q1 PAT rises 11%; board okays ₹4,500 cr NCD issue

Tata Power reported an 11% YoY increase in Q1 FY27 consolidated profit after tax to ₹1,401 crore, while revenue rose 8% to ₹18,898 crore. The board approved raising up to ₹4,500 crore through NCDs and other debt securities. The company also recorded its highest-ever quarterly capex of ₹5,375 crore to drive renewable energy expansion.
