Tata Power seeks $1 bn loan for renewable energy projects: Report

Tata Power is planning to raise up to $1 billion (around ₹8,306 crore) for its renewable energy projects, Bloomberg reported. The firm is in talks with several lenders including State Bank of India, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank for loan, the report added. If successful, this would reportedly be the largest domestic currency loan in India this year.
