Tata Sons approves plan to make one of India's largest companies go public
Tata Sons board on Thursday approved a fresh five-year tenure extension for its Chairman, N Chandrasekaran, as Noel Tata's vote was outnumbered by other board members, reports said. The board has also approved one of India's largest companies' plan to go public and list on stock exchanges. This comes days after the RBI rejected Tata Sons' bid to stay private.
