Tata Steel denies probe into price collusion, blames global trends

Tata Steel managing director TV Narendran said the firm will respond to Competition Commission of India’s probe into alleged price collusion once it receives full set of documents. "Steel prices…are based on international prices. It doesn't depend on Tata Steel deciding in isolation," he said. CCI initiated probe against 28 steelmakers, including Tata Steel and JSW Steel, for price collusion.
