Tata Steel fires 35 employees for breach of ethical code
Tata Steel fired 35 employees for "unacceptable practices bordering on ethical issues" and three others for sexual misconduct, Chairman N Chandrasekaran said. The action was taken after the company received several whistleblower complaints about issues such as conflict of interest and misuse of authority. This comes days after Tata Group's TCS fired six employees for bribes-for-job scandal.
