Tata Steel to be merged with 7 metal companies of Tata Group

Tata Steel on Friday announced the merger of seven of its group companies and itself in an attempt to consolidate its business. Under this scheme of amalgamation, Tata Steel Long Products, The Tinplate Company of India, Tata Metaliks, TRF Limited, The Indian Steel & Wire Products, Tata Steel Mining and S&T Mining Company will be merged with Tata Steel.
