Tata Steel to invest ₹11,000 cr to develop green steel in J'khand

Tata Steel will invest ₹11,000 crore in Jharkhand for developing advanced grade green steel at its Jamshedpur facility, Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekaran said. "We want to partner with the state in many initiatives. Wherever we can, we want to contribute to its development," Chandrasekaran said. The investment package also includes ₹2,600 crore for the expansion of the tinplate facilities.
