Tata Trusts gets relief as 1989 share transfer complaint dismissed

Maharashtra Charity Commissioner dismissed a complaint regarding the 1989 transfer of 833 Tata Sons shares from the Navajbai Ratan Tata Trust (NRTT) to Naval H Tata. The regulator said the transaction was backed by proper documentation. It also criticised NRTT trustee Vijay Singh for filing the complaint, stating his actions damaged the Trust's goodwill.
