Tata would turn off plane engine to scare co-passengers in college: Biographer

Late industrialist Ratan Tata's biographer Thomas Mathew spoke about Tata's experience during his time at Cornell University. "There are many stories revolving around...his daredevil flying skills...He used to go up into the sky, switch off the engine and scare his co-passengers," he said. Tata was a licensed pilot who made history by flying an F-16 fighter jet at age 69.
