Tax robots: US Senator on tech firms replacing humans with robots

US Senator for Vermont Bernie Sanders criticised large tech corporations for replacing human workers with robots. "Why would corporations like Amazon replace workers with robots?…[because they] don’t need a wage, health care, time off, sick leave, Social Security, Medicare or unemployment benefits," he said. "It’s time to tax robots & use revenue generated to help working families," he added.
