Indians in India paid ~₹19 lakh Cr in income taxes last FY. Indian origin people in the US paid ~₹13 lakh Cr meanwhile(~$156 Bn). People of Indian origin comprise 1.5% of US population but contribute 6% of their income tax revenue. Recently, the US Ambassador to India stated that Indians are the most successful migrant community in the US.
