Taylor Swift deepfakes came from online AI challenge: Report

Deepfake videos of Taylor Swift, which surfaced in January-end, originated from an online challenge to break safety mechanisms, Graphika reported. Internet forum 4chan, from where the images originated, participated in daily competitions to find words to bypass restrictive measures of AI image generation sites. Swift isn't even most frequently targeted public figure on 4chan, Graphika said.
