TCS, Infosys, HCL, Wipro added only 165 employees in 90 days

India's IT services sector saw flat to declining headcount in Q3 FY26 as major firms recalibrate delivery models away from linear manpower growth toward AI-led and platform-driven execution. Tata Consultancy Services, HCLTech and others recorded workforce contractions, while Infosys and Wipro added staff, especially freshers and specialists.
