TCS, Infosys, other IT stocks plunge; Nifty IT drops 1,200 points

Indian IT stocks recorded strong losses on Monday, pushing down Nifty IT by around 1,200 points at the time of writing. Wipro was the top loser on the sectoral index, falling around 4%. Other stocks which tumbled included TCS (3.39%), Infosys (3.36%), LTI Mindtree (3.15%), Mphasis (2.39%) and others. Notably, Nifty IT fell the most among all sectoral indices.
