TCS' market value falls ₹34,000 cr in a week after N Chandrasekaran resigns

Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) market value fell by ₹34,263 crore in a week to ₹8.53 lakh crore after chairman N Chandrasekaran resigned ahead of the group's annual general meeting on August 18. Tata Group stocks lost around ₹46,000 crore in market value last week after Chandrasekaran said he won't seek reappointment at the end of his term in February 2027.
