TCS says half of internal hiring now driven by AI marketplace

India's largest IT services firm, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), said nearly half of its internal resource allocations now happen through an AI-led talent marketplace using AI-driven recommendations. The process, traditionally handled by managers and staffing teams, is significant as it shapes promotions, pay growth and career paths. TCS ended March 2026 with 5,84,519 employees.
