Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is on track to hire 40,000 freshers this year, its COO N Ganapathy Subramaniam said. "Campus hiring is a part of our core strategy," he said, adding that TCS is set to continue hiring over next few quarters. About 60,000 people are on the bench and can be productively deployed, he said in a separate interview.
