TDP worker held for woman's assault over water dispute in Andhra

A Telugu Desam Party (TDP) worker was arrested on Saturday for allegedly assaulting and humiliating a woman over a water pump dispute in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur. Andhra Pradesh CM, N Chandrababu Naidu condemned the alleged assault and said the worker had been suspended from the party. The worker had allegedly demanded ₹10,000 from the woman for installing a water pump.
