Teacher booked for beating up Class 8 student in Thane

A case has been registered against a private school teacher for allegedly beating up a Class 8 student in Thane. The parents of the 14-year-old boy lodged a complaint against the teacher. According to them, the teacher slapped their son after he returned late from the washroom, following which the accused beat him on the back and pulled his ears.
